Kochi is one of the most popular tourist spots in the country. Every year thousands of tourists visit this city to enjoy the beauty of the sea. So, last month I decided to visit the capital of Kerela with my family. We wanted to enjoy a quiet holiday and so was looking for a very good resort and on a friend’s recommendation I booked Le Colonial, a heritage Hotel in Cochin by Neemrana.
Le Colonial is one of the oldest hotels in Fort Cochin- that date backs to the 16th century. What I loved about this heritage hotel is that it houses many art treasures from the olden days, thus taking us back in time. The rooms that we got were very well-furnished and boasted of the old world charm. Even though it is a heritage hotel we were provided with all the modern amenities to make our stay a comfortable one.
Food served in their restaurant Feast was really delicious and fresh. We mostly ordered sea food and the Italian dishes were also quite good. I simply fell in love with the ambience of the restaurant. Le Colonial is a perfect hotel to explore Kochi and experience the lifestyle of the bygone days. The hotel arranged excursions for us around the city to discover its hidden treasures.
